We are looking for Automation Engineering Leader. Our Engineering department is responsible for leading the connection between technology, innovation, and design to the production. We aim to provide a quality and professional service to production that prevents faults in advance on the one hand and solves them in real time on the other hand.
Lead automation and robotics-based projects for manufacturing and assembly processes, focusing on quality and efficiency.
Design mechanical assemblies (software, hardware) and automated systems.
Establish and adapt automated production lines for new products and improve existing lines, from concept evaluation to mass production.
Plan and lead projects from the definition stage (DFA) through all phases until implementation, including managing first runs – FAT, SAT – to delivery, and providing subsequent support and improvements.
Handle and resolve complex issues in control systems and automation machines.
Provide technical support for all electro-mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting control issues, programming controllers, specifying and accepting new machines from suppliers, learning their operation, and supporting maintenance engineers.
Work with internal teams and subcontractors in Israel and abroad.
Manage Automation Engineers.
Lead engineering processes – VSM, PFMEA, VALIDATION (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
At least 7 years of experience in managing, developing, and implementing automation processes – required.
Experience in managing strategic projects, including responsibility for meeting deadlines – required.
Experience in guiding and implementing production systems from specification, design, and execution with subcontractors in Israel and abroad – an advantage.
Proficiency in software applications: ERP, PLM, PDM, ALTIUM, SolidWorks (Priority is an advantage), Office.
Ability to work in teams and with interfaces in production, development, quality, and suppliers.
Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both reading and writing.

Perform process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and design production tools and fixtures.

Lead supply chain projects and introduce new production technologies (automation, assemble machines and tester).
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to optimize operations.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
At least 6 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering support in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced expertise with ERP, PLM systems, and 3D CAD (SolidWorks – Advanced).
Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills (hands on).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles – an advantage.
